Dry-Ice Solutions

What is dry-ice blasting?

Pellets in. Contamination out.

Compressed air fires solid CO₂ pellets at the contaminated surface. On impact, each pellet sublimates into rapidly expanding gas, creating a mini explosion that lifts contamination off the surface. What's left is dry and clean, with no chemicals or residue.

Why dry ice?

Six reasons clients switch and never go back.

Water-Free

Zero moisture introduced to your equipment or product — making it safe to clean electronics and live circuitry without short-circuit risk.

Chemical-Free

No detergents, solvents, or harsh chemicals required.

Residue-Free

Dry ice sublimates into gas. No secondary waste.

Food-Safe

FDA, USDA, and HACCP compliant for direct food-contact surfaces.

Non-Abrasive

Protects surfaces and extends equipment lifespan — gentle enough for delicate items like circuit boards and fuse boxes.

Zero Downtime

Clean equipment in-place with no disassembly required. We offer overnight cleaning outside of regular hours to keep your operation running.

Value

The math behind cleanliness.

Independent industry research, not our claims.

Reduction in cleaning downtime

Reduction in labor costs

Saved per large project in waste disposal fees

Lower VOC emissions vs. chemical cleaning

Industry example

A printing press cleaned monthly traditionally costs 16,700 per cleaning, totaling 200,000+ annually in labor and materials. Dry-ice blasting cuts this by over 30% — saving more than 60,000 per year on a single machine.

Yousef AlHalwani — Founder of Thalji

Founded with intent.

I'm the founder and operator of Thalji, the Kingdom's first dry-ice blasting service for hotels, restaurants and food production sites in Saudi Arabia. I own the business and I work it myself. On the van, on the site, on the trigger.

I graduated from the Swiss Hotel Management School in International Hospitality and Events Management. My background spans restaurant work in Saudi Arabia; audio-visual and large-event production including the G20 Summit Opening Dinner, the GCC Summit and the PGA European Tour; and operations across departments at the Ritz-Carlton, Abama and Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Rotating through hotel operations gave me a direct view of how luxury properties actually function behind the scenes. The inefficiencies and operational blind spots that turn into pressure points. Genuine standards are what separate disciplined operations from cosmetic ones. Thalji exists because I saw firsthand how much better these environments run when cleanliness, maintenance and operational efficiency are treated as one system, not separate tasks.
